Grapat Veggies is a 12-piece loose parts set of hand painted wooden vegetables in varying shapes and heights, from 12mm to 40mm. Long carrots, plump tomatoes, leafy greens and rounded roots come together like a freshly gathered harvest.

Packed into their simple cardboard box, they feel like a weekly veg delivery waiting to be sorted, prepared and shared. Children can set up a farm shop, prepare imaginary soups and stews, or collect ingredients for a woodland feast.

Kitchen Play and Imaginative Storytelling

These vegetables invite role play rooted in real life. They can be chopped and mixed in pretend kitchens, sorted by colour and shape, or arranged into patterns and mandalas. Naming the vegetables and grouping them into sets supports language development and early maths skills, all through play.

They also make a wonderful addition to seasonal small world scenes, especially harvest and autumn setups.

Made in Grapat’s family workshop in the Pyrenean mountains of Catalunya, each piece is shaped from sustainably sourced wood from within the EU. They are coloured using water-based, non-toxic dyes and finished with wax or vegetable oils, allowing the natural grain to remain visible. Subtle variations in tone and texture are part of their beauty.
